Leveling Up with Adobe Illustrator
Back in 2020, at the height of the pandemic, I started learning how to use Adobe Illustrator. I wrote about it in a previous blog post: On Learning Adobe Illustrator. I've since been using Illustrator more and more with the goal of designing goods beyond just enamel pins, such as clothing, stickers, challenge coins, etc.
I am excited beyond words because I received some mail today containing a pile of Ultimate jerseys that I designed myself using Illustrator. It's always been a dream of mine to design a jersey and actually get to wear it on the field, and I am extremely proud to say that I finally made it happen. The jersey design is based off the packaging of New Jersey's most famous breakfast food, pork roll.
Shout-out to BE Ultimate for helping me through the order process, and for being the only jersey/apparel company to offer fully-sublimated polos. The end product turned out exactly how I envisioned.
If you are interested in the Illustrator file I used for the front design of the jersey, you can download it for free below (Note: You'll need a few specific fonts installed for the file to load correctly).
I'd love to work on more stuff like this in the future, so if you have a parody jersey in mind, or just need help vectorizing something, please reach out and we can talk rates.
Thanks as always for reading! If you enjoyed my content or found the design file helpful, feel free to buy me a coffee.
